Senior Azure / M365 Specialist (m/f/d)
Aufgaben:
- As a Senior Azure/M365 Specialist, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing Azure and Microsoft 365 (M365) environments, focusing on identity management, security, compliance, and operational efficiency. You will oversee processes related to Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), application integrations, and IT service management while supporting automation and governance initiatives.
- As a key contributor, you will work on both conceptual frameworks and hands-on implementation, collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish secure, efficient, and compliant cloud-based solutions.
- Manage and optimize Microsoft Entra ID (with secure identity solutions such as SSO, MFA, and conditional access while supporting lifecycle processes like onboarding, offboarding, and access reviews.
- Configure, manage and improve security policies for Azure/Entra and M365 environments, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards.
- Automate Azure/M365 operational processes like provisioning and monitoring, support ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change management, and enhance IT processes using tools like PowerShell and Azure Logic Apps.
- Administer, manage, and optimize Azure and M365 services, ensuring high availability and reliability through performance monitoring and issue resolution, while providing advanced technical support and escalation handling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement secure solutions, provide training and documentation for IT teams and end-users, and support Azure and M365 projects aligned with business objectives.
Qualifikationen:
- Strategic thinking with the ability to plan and execute complex projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills, able to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Team-oriented and collaborative, with a proactive approach to driving improvements.
- 3-5 Years experience in a comparable role
- Proven experience in planning, designing, and managing Azure Active Directory (Microsoft Entra ID) and M365 environments.
- Expertise in security and compliance features within Azure and M365 ecosystems.
- Proficiency in IT automation tools and scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Azure Logic Apps).
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and ITSM tools like ServiceNow or Jira Service Management.
- Languages: English, German helpful
