Manufacturing Digitalization Expert (m/f/d)
You report to the global head of IT and will have a strong connect to senior leaders in the areas supply chain, engineering and quality. You build, optimize, and maintain data models that aim to increase transparency and stability of key production processes. Moreover, you collaborate with production and business process experts to explore and examine data from a variety of angles to determine hidden weaknesses, trends and/or opportunities. You utilize already-available information assets from various IT systems and point out needs for additional data gathering and integrations. You apply sophisticated analytics programs, machine learning and statistical methods to gain so-far hidden insights into processes & process deviations. In addition, you prepare, document and communicate work results in a clear manner and facilitate decision-making processes together with senior business leaders.
Strong communicator, including excellent command of written and spoken English and German Experienced project manager with profound coordination skills and comfortable reporting results to both technical and non-technical audiences Ability to work with minimal supervision and to utilize self-management skills (for example prioritization of tasks, pro-active management involvement when needed) Willingness to go the extra mile and acquire topics, even if they may reside outside of your area of responsibility University degree in computer or natural science, engineering, or mathematics Ability to tick at least three of the disciplines below as your areas of expertise: predictive statistical models data mining machine learning statistics database and modelling concepts data warehousing data processing (ETL) At least 3 years' practical experience in an international working environment, ideally with focus on data, manufacturing and/or quality Knowledgeable in data programming and scripting languages commonly used for data transformation and statistics such as Python Experienced with data analytics platforms and statistic tools (e.g. Qlik, Splunk, Dataiku, Minitab, Simca) as well as with modern collaboration platforms (e.g. O365/Teams, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint) and able to leverage these tools to optimize the outcome of your work Looking forward to working with people from various backgrounds/cultures and applying interpersonal skills with the desire to share knowledge and expertise Great attention to detail in identifying data relationships, trends, and anomalies
