IT Systems Engineer (f­­/­­m­­/­­d)

a degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification at least 3 years of professional experience in supporting heterogeneous IT infrastructures experience in managing, deploying and troubleshooting Linux-based systems and software experience in administration and troubleshooting of network switches, routers and firewall appliances knowledge of server hardware management good working knowledge of a scripting language excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support a diverse and international user community a service-oriented attitude, are well-organised and able to work to deadlines excellent working knowledge of English You might also have experience in managing additional operating systems (Windows, macOS) work experience in a scientific computing environment
